Ow Family Properties has owned and managed commercial, industrial and office buildings in Santa Cruz County since 1964. The company was founded by George and Emily Ow after they sold their grocery business, King’s Markets. The company was run for many years by the second generation of family members who are still active in the business operations. Many of the third generation family members are working for the business making our company a true family business.
Ow Family Properties has supported many local organizations, charities and events over the years.
Some of these include:
• The American Cancer Society
• American Dream Scholarships
• Big Brothers and Big Sisters
• The Pacific Rim Film Festival
• Many local schools and sports programs.
The following quotation from George Ow, Jr. while speaking at the American Dream Scholarship presentation at Cabrillo College represents a message that holds true to Ow Family Properties, “The American Dream is that you can come from humble beginnings and if you work hard enough, can become anybody and anything,” Ow said. “And when you become successful you shall assist others.”
