Why buy local?  Why does it matter?  How can you find a profitable niche in building a vibrant local economy?  Find out why and how the “Farmers Market” model might be the next big thing in helping local governments stimulate local economies.

Radio host and local buying advocate on the board of Santa Cruz’s Think Local First will share some of the insights of why creating a strong local economy through disciplined local buying habits creates a healthy community.  He will discuss some of the data and stories that he has uncovered that speak loudly to the benefits that can be gained from local agriculture and mom and pop style business.  The evening should be an engaging opportunity to hear a local talent and to gain some good insights on doing business locally.

Network before and after the meeting – met local resources who can help you build your business today.
